Python: Finance Indicators. Stocks, Forex, Futures and options indicators built into python

Welcome to the next step in learning to chart your own stocks, as well as learning more advanced mathematical skills in python. In this series, which is currently a work in process, you will learn about over 70 of the more popular indicators in finance, then you will learn how to program them within python, then you will learn how to chart them using our previous charting series as a base-line.

Lots of information to come out. Not certain how long it will take for me to finish this massive undertaking, but it will be epic when complete. The plan after this is to include all of these together to create a very cool charting application. Possibly even bring in the machine learning to it.

Each mini-series in this massive series will comprise of 3 main parts. The first part will be discussion of what the indicator is. The second part will be programming it into python to generate the desired output. Finally, the third part will show how to actually chart the indicators like in the chart below in matplotlib. All of this is covered step-by-step. If you would like to learn how to do this sort of thing completely yourself, you are taught line by line, by video and text.

Table of Contents:

Each indicator mini-series will get its own page. If that indicator is done, then the Indicator name will be click-able and will lead to that indicator’s page.

Stuff to make your life easier:
